Elettrostart E4613AM2 Shut-Off Solenoid: dual coil, pull-push action

The E4613AM2 is a dual-coil shut-off solenoid from the ES46 family by Elettrostart (CEI srl), featuring an intermittent-duty start coil (~150 ms) that moves the plunger and a continuous-duty hold coil that holds it in position. It is a Series 3 model, without internal switching, designed for connection to a starter motor or an external electronic switch (CEI IE04).

Why do I need to install it with an ammeter?
