Elettrostart E413AM3F Shut-Off Solenoid: dual-coil solenoid for Lombardini engines
The E413AM3F is a dual-coil shut-off solenoid from Elettrostart (E-ES 40 family), featuring an intermittent-duty start coil (~150 ms) that moves the plunger and a continuous-duty hold coil that keeps it in position. It is the original part for Lombardini diesel engines (part no. 674R046, ED00674R0460-S).
Technical characteristics
Why do I need to install it with an ammeter?
It is essential to use an ammeter to verify that the plunger reaches its end of travel and makes full contact. If it does not reach the stop, the starting coil will not switch to the running coil and may burn out due to continuous operation at the starting current. If you have any questions about the assembly, contact us at.
* IMPORTANT. IT MUST BE ASSEMBLED WITH AN AMMETER TO ENSURE THAT THE PLUNGER MAKES THE END OF STROKE, OTHERWISE IT WILL BURN !!!!
