Description

Central Deep Sea DSE 3110 MPU - What is it and when to use it?

The DSE 3110 MPU is a 3000 series controller from Deep Sea Electronics, designed for manual and semi-automatic control of gensets operating on a manual or semi-automatic basis. autonomous, without the need for monitoring or switching with the utility grid.

It is the right solution when you need to start and stop the genset manually or by a remote contact start signal, with full monitoring of the engine and generator parameters, but without AMF function (automatic mains failure detection). If your installation requires the unit to start automatically in the event of a network failure, please refer to the DSE 6120 MKIII AMF or the DSE 7320 MKII AMF.

What does the MPU version mean?

The DSE 3110 is available in two variants depending on the type of motor to which it is connected:

  • MPU version (magnetic pick-up) - for engines non-electronic, without ECU. It measures engine speed by means of a magnetic pick-up sensor. It is the most common version in mid-range gensets and in older Deutz, Hatz, Perkins or Yanmar engines.
  • CAN version - for electronic engines with CAN J1939 interface and integrated ECU. If your engine is electronic, please check availability of this variant.

This product corresponds to the MPU version.
