The flexible piping is used to conduct the engine exhaust gases to the outside of the installation, absorbing the vibrations of the genset and allowing small misalignments between the engine manifold and the outlet. It is a component that deteriorates over time due to a combination of temperature, vibration and condensation, and its periodic replacement is part of the standard maintenance of any genset.

Material and technical characteristics

The zinc-plated pipe is made of galvanized steel with double seaming, This gives it flexibility while maintaining structural strength. Withstands a temperature range of between -20 °C and 700 °C, suitable for the vast majority of industrial generator sets. For environments with higher chemical aggressiveness or higher durability requirements, we have also available stainless steel pipe.

How is the pipe sold?

The pipe can be purchased by the meter (minimum purchase of 1 meter) or at 10 meter roll. If you order several units, it will arrive in a continuous length without sectioning - for example, 3 units equals 3 meters of pipe in one piece. The pipe can be automatic or autogenous wire welding (not with electrode).
